We had so much fun designing this learning space. Being given a strong brief and a large space to be creative in is a lovely place to find ourselves. Creating these outdoor classrooms is incredibly satisfying and rewarding. 

The school were fantastic to work with. Their passion about what this space could be and what they wanted for their pupils, was clear from day one and it was a great collaboration of minds. 

The Nature Mound was created with the spoil form the groundwork’s, sedum and herbs were planted and logs and boulders set in place. The story telling throne, with a bug hotel behind it, also has drawers underneath for bits and bobs. The pond has a solar powered pump and filter.

We can’t wait to come back and visit in the future.
