Tiny worlds crafted from imagination and offcuts. Our fairy houses are often themed to complement their surroundings, hidden in tree roots, nestled in mossy banks, or perched on wooden stumps.
Using the smallest offcuts of timber to bring a little magic into the world is one of the most satisfying parts of what we do. Every stage is a wonderfully creative process, from sketching ideas and sorting through quirky, characterful pieces of wood to spotting inspiration in unexpected shapes.
You can see many of the fairy houses we have created at Audley End Miniature Railway, Cambridge in their wonderful Fairy Walk. We also design and build them to order, giving you an opportunity to collaborate with us to create your own magical little world. Artisan structures provided an excellent service and the project from start to finish was a memorable and very enjoyable experience enjoyed by pupils and staff.
They were attentive to our vision and had a real passion for achieving the best for the children.
The building is beautifully crafted and all visitors feel compelled to touch the different woods and techniques used – from the cedar shingles down to the waxed oak seating.
