We are so happy with the finished structure, we built it above and around a dead standing walnut tree, letting one of the branches come through the roof, allowing Tim to carve it in to a chimney! The sweet chestnut we used to build the structure came from our local coppice in Essex and the willow used for the woven walls came from a coppice in Cambridgeshire.

After observing how the children play on this structure, it is clear that it will be very well used and appreciated for many years to come. A thoroughly enjoyable project from start to finish.
