I am writing this in recommendation of Artisan Structures who designed, planned and built a play structure for Westwood Primary School in 2015.
Artisan structures provided an excellent service and the project from start to finish was a memorable and very enjoyable experience enjoyed by pupils and staff.
Through photographs and Twitter, pupils were able to follow the progress of the project from initial design through to the coppicing of the wood and then experience the build of the structure on site. It was a great learning opportunity which provided us with a one of a kind fantastic play structure which we anticipate will give our children many years of fun.
The project was completed on time and with care and precision and I would have no hesitation in recommending Artisan Structures.Louise Edwards, Teacher, Westwood Primary School, Cambridgeshire.
Duncan and Tim created an imaginative and exciting addition to our outside learning space. They were attentive to our vision and had a real passion for achieving the best for the children. The Hideaway is beautiful and practical and the children and staff love it!Mrs Lesley Farrow, Headteacher, Clements CP School
As a school/PTA we decided we needed an outside classroom with a difference – something special that would inspire the children and enhance their outside learning experience.
The building is beautifully crafted and all visitors feel compelled to touch the different woods and techniques used – from the cedar shingles down to the waxed oak seating.
It was a pleasure to have Tim and Duncan visit our school and leave us with such a unique and lasting legacy of a level of craftsmanship that is becoming a rare thing indeed.James Clark, Headteacher, Exning Primary School
