The Brief
The brief was to create a spacious shelter where the family and their friends could gather.
The Design
For this outdoor dining area, we created beautiful, organic shapes that blend in with the trees and pond. Built with sweet chestnut in the round for uprights, braces and handrails, larch planks for the floor, a cedar shingle roof and stress graded pine rafters with waney edged larch fascias and barge boards and the walls are woven in green willow.
The Result
The owners are extremely pleased with the result and it was a fantastic project to work on!
